3-point belt on the left on my 90000 kms bike is a bit of a hassle to roll when trying to plug it.
Given that I need to extend it maybe twice its length before I plug the buckle, at least 3-4 times the belt locks like in case of an accident.
So then I have to release and retry and hopefully find an angle where the belt rolls without locks.
Very annoying.
Is there a way to fix this?
I am afraid to apply any WD40 to such a delicate part that is related to safety.

http://www.c1forum.co.uk/cgi-bin/topic_show.pl?pid=123455;hl=Seat%20belt Try this, but you’ll at least need the locking mechanism from another belt. I couldn’t really see how to make the faulty one work properly. As you say, it’s a safety thing so I was a bit cautious.

I finally applied some WD40 at the seat belt mechanism and it now stopped locking.
