Hi to all,
Is there any way to replace the HT lead without removing the rear side panel?

Also is any way to measure if lead doesn't work properly, for example with some multimeter?

1. ht lead can be removed but impossible (?) to put back with panel in position.
2. idle bike in pitch darkness to check for corona along wire. slight corona acceptable.
3. ht fault usually lies with the suppressor cap and not the ht lead. use a multi meter to read suppressor resistance, should be between 2000 and 5000 ohms or thereabouts.
4. if you have a swop-out coil and lead, unplug the coil (from memory possible with panel in position) and run the bike with the test items loosely positions under the saddle.

I have already changed suppressor cap. I just wondered how someone can measure the strength of the spark.
The swapping of the coil with cable is a good approach.
